It’s been a rewarding year for the Andrew Oliver Kora Band, and now we’re excited to tackle some fantastic new material as we begin recording and production on our second album. What’s more, we’re thrilled to announce that Seattle-based Origin Records will be releasing our new work this fall. With our new album in mind, here are a few ways you might consider supporting us and our music by helping us raise the money to fund its production:

On Saturday, May 8th at 7:00 p.m., the Kora Band will play a private concert at Origin Records’ founder John Bishop’s beautiful home in Rainier Beach. We'll perform some ‘classics’ and lots of new material with the full band, as well as showing off our stripped-down acoustic setup… featuring lots of calabash!

We're asking a minimum donation of $50 from each guest to cover admission to the show. Once the CDs are pressed, we’ll mail you an autographed copy, and your name will be listed in the credits of the CD. Oh, and of course there will be wine, hors d'oeuvres, and plenty of time to socialize with the band.

Please consider joining us for this unique opportunity to enjoy a intimate evening of music… and support the local music community at the same time. 100% of the event proceeds will go directly toward offsetting the costs associated with producing our new album.
